Nottingham Bear Fair

On Bank Holiday Monday I was at The Nottingham Bear Fair
...............and what a day it was, fabulous.
I had to part with quite a few bears but as they all went to live with some very nice collectors, I didn't mind too much. The day could have been a disaster, mainly due to the fact that several stall holders had to cancel at the last minute. I hasten to say the turn out was superb and the bears...............................well what can you say, they were all stunning.
If ever you get the chance to attend a small local fair then I would urge you to do so. In this current climate I have found that there is less focus on internet selling and an increase in buying a bear in the fur, so to speak. Not so difficult to understand why really, as less money means that people are more careful, me included.

As per usual I had a mad rush in the final hours, hehehe!!!
Typical, it doesn't matter how well I think I am organised I always end up at the last minute with loads of bears to finish and too little time.

This little fella is called Berry Elfdancer

He is just under 4 inches tall and is now available on my website
Berry Elfdancer

Please take a peak, I am sure he will be glad to see you

Is that a piccie of you at the back of your stand? You are usually quite elusive with the cameras:0)

Hi Sue

Glad to hear it was a good fair, wanted to bob down but Alan was stuck into some DIY as per usual. Berry Elfdancer is gorgeous, the wings are exquisite too.
